Hi, I’m Craig Leavell, owner of Craig Leavell Photography. I help real estate professionals showcase properties with high-quality photography, video, and aerial imagery designed to make a lasting first impression.
My photography journey began in 1981 when I took my first photography classes at Ball State University. What started as a passion for capturing the world around me eventually grew into a professional business. In 2008, I founded C.J. Photography, LLC, and began turning that passion into a career.
Today, I’m focusing that experience on real estate media, helping agents and property owners present their listings in the best possible light. My services include HDR real estate photography, high-definition property video, and aerial drone photography and video to showcase a property’s interior, exterior, features, and surroundings. Whether it’s a cozy home, a luxury property, or a unique piece of real estate, my goal is to create compelling visuals that help buyers connect with a property before they ever step through the door.
After many rewarding years working in youth development, I’ve retired from that career and am dedicating more time to photography and creative projects. As an FAA Part 107-certified drone pilot, I can also provide aerial perspectives that add another dimension to property marketing.
While real estate media is my primary focus, I continue to welcome portrait sessions, senior pictures, special events, and other photography projects. I enjoy the variety photography offers and the opportunity to help people preserve important moments and showcase what matters to them.
When I’m not behind the camera, I enjoy traveling and camping with my wife, riding my motorcycle, and tending to my bonsai trees.
